Dance Movie From 90s/00s, But Can't Remember Name?

Hey guys, there's this hip hop dance film from either the 90s or early 2000s. It has a dark-skin female lead with dreadlocks or braids in her hair. She's the only female in an all-male dance troupe, but from what I can remember from the film (I watched it years ago when I was very young), she was temporarily kicked out...? The specific dance style is krumping, I believe and they competed in a battle. Can anyone help me out and tell me the title of this film, please? Would be much appreciated :)
