Can’t remember movie or show title

I’m trying to remember a movie or show but I don’t remember what it’s called. There’s a boy who works at a video store (I think it’s the 90s or early 2000s) and he has a shelf of movies he recommends. A girl comes in the store and realizes he copied the movies from a directors list of favourite movies, but one of the movies is missing because it’s rare. I think he eventually finds the movie and watches it with the girl? Also I think she has a boyfriend who breaks into the store while they’re watching the movie? Please help
