Can not remember the title of the movie
The movie's plot is set in Africa, probably in the 1940s or 1950s. It is about the life of a British family and their maid on a plantation. The movie starts with the white British mother and her white British daughter arriving at the plantation by plane. The white British father and the white maid already live on the plantation. There are also several black male servants on the plantation. Almost immediately after arriving, the daughter is physically punished by her father and the maid. She is physically punished several times throughout the movie. At the end of the movie, she is punished more than the other times. The ending ends with her seeking help for her injuries at a doctor's office. She rode from the plantation to the doctor's office in great pain. It is notable that everyone in the family, including the daughter and the maid, smokes a lot.I apologize for the few details I am able to provide. I still hope someone knows what movie I am thinking of.

It’s set somewhere in Africa, likely around the 1940s or 1950s. It follows a British family on a plantation, along with their maid and other staff. A mother and daughter arrive by plane, joining the father who is already there with the maid. The daughter is treated harshly throughout the film, and the atmosphere is quite unsettling overall. It ends with her going to see a doctor after severe injuries, traveling in pain. Everyone smokes constantly. Sorry I can’t remember more.
