Can anyone help me find this movie? movie starts with people separated in networked pods being run by A.I. world authority.

i can't remember the name of this movie but first part is about the life of a boy in his pod.  he tries to text with his mom, who is not very responsive. (addicted to video gaming) he remotely operates a loader and at the remote loader site he spots a dog and a human through his loader camera.  he stops operating and the world authority tells him to get back to work.  he orders takeout and plays video game.  he beats the video game momentarily elated then realizes empty victory.  his pod breaks and he gets out of door.  goes to his moms pod but i think she won't let him in?  then drone comes to see why he is bothering the pod owner.  he then hikes to quarry to find dog and girl?  finds them and has to learn how to communicate verbally.  is used to only communicating with texting.  then he develops relationship with similar aged girl.  they try to avoid the world authority drones.  on a hike with the other kids in their family unit one of them loses a scarf and a drone spots it and goes looking for them.  i appreciate if anyone can help me find the title.  i can't remember what actors but the mom in the movie i think was a red head.
