Asian tv show on Netflix where mother treats and takes a boy to her house that she thinks/suspects is her dead son.
I saw an Asian tv show on Netflix some time ago. I do not have it on my history because I had cancelled my subscription and now I subscribed back. A mother lost (I think he died )her son (a boy between 8 to 11 years old). Then a boy looking like him appears and I do not remember how/why goes to live in her house. I remember it was a very contemporary and rich house, full of wide glass doors and fancy household appliances. The mother could be a doctor/psychiatrist/social worker. It is a horror/thriller tv show and I maybe watched it from 2012 to 2018/19. Please help!

Well, the outline of the story does sound like something from the mind of Anna Starobinets, but I cannot find any Korean or other East Asian shows attributed to her, so the separate authors either were inspired by an obscure much older tale or simply had the same original idea.

Hello again! Thinking of how similar the provided description of the story is to the Netflix plot outline for one of the television series (the title of which I couldn't remember) in my own list through the particular streaming service, I wanted to revisit this thread much sooner than now, but I was busy with the various problems in my life. Anyway, I've finally gotten around to it, and the title I'm coming up with is Sleepless Society: Nyctophobia, a Thai production with Chermarn Boonyasak, Nattapat Nimjirawat, Jason Young, Matthew Deane Chanthavanij, Inthira Charoenpura and Natharinee Kanasoot appearing in it.
