American Thriller series - cannot remember the name

I remember binge watching a series one evening a couple of years ago, I watch loads of thrillers and here is my problem.

I don't know the actors or what the series was really about (i hate getting old), I have watched so many thrillers that I tend to get them mixed up with each other.

All I remember is one scene that a women who was abducted as a teenager is found now with a child being held in a police officer house and the wife of the police officer is in denial as to what her husband had done.

Now for some information that might not be relative, I think the police officer was holding the women captive as he might had been having a affair with her?

Not a lot to on but hopefully someone can share some light
