Michelle: Although I haven't seen Bee Movie, the problem in the Parents Guide at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0389790/parentalguide is that people (or bots) have been voting to rate all the categories (Sex & Nudity, Violence & Gore, Profanity, Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking, and Frightening & Intense Scenes) as "Severe", even though this is a PG-rated film in the U.S. and a U-certificate film in the U.K. which would not be expected to be characterized with "Severe" descriptions in these categories.
The actual descriptions of the content appear to be plausible, but the ratings voted on the None/Mild/Moderate/Severe scale are not.
For example, the following is the complete description under Profanity:
1 mild scatological term, 3 anatomical terms (butt, buttocks), 3 religious references ("bee Jesus" and "very Jewish"), 1 derogatory remark ("honey slave to the white man").
And yet the voters gave None 79 votes, Mild 71 votes, Moderate 11 votes, and Severe 177 votes.
It would take at least 100 more IMDb users to outvote whoever has been casting these silly "Severe" votes, unless the staff intervenes to investigate and figure out what the "Severe" voters are doing and how to block them from voting inappropriately.
As mentioned above, if there is any content in the Parents Guide for "Bee Movie" that is wrong, please go ahead and correct it.
Regarding the "Severe" rankings, I have filed a ticket for further investigation by the applicable team, once there is an update on the status I will provide those details here.
