Wrong Title

Hi

I've tried to contact imdb several times about the following through imdb's edit info portal, but the title of my film continues to be incorrectly shown on imdb.

The film is listed by its US / N. American alternate title on imdb, and not by its original title (in the country of origin, and also all other territories outside of N. America). Please amend the title, I beg you!

It is listed as Rock Sugar. "Bullied" should only be displayed as the main title if you have chosen U.S. settings or are located in the U.S.

Thanks Peter. I don't believe I am on US settings. How do I check this?

The title display country/region setting here:

Thanks Peter. I'd had country as '-', and changed it to 'Australia' but when I went to search for the film in the search bar, it still list the US alternate title. This makes it hard for people to find the film on AVOD platforms like Plex, that is linked to imdb with their metadata. How can this be fixed?

You're right that the U.S. title is also displayed in the search bar suggestions. I don't think this can be changed.

@matterobscurafilms  Please see the correct URL which Peter gave above for controlling your display settings -> https://www.imdb.com/preferences/general  ... the screen-grab you have provided is for demographic details which has nothing to do with content display.  You should change the settings on https://www.imdb.com/preferences/general  to:

and press the submit button. This will change your title display experience on https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7613194/ to what everyone else outside the US also sees.

@Peter_pbn is also correct in that the suggestion search field is currently hardwired to display US titles, even though it can be searched via non-US titles.  We have plan to localise the display over the long term.

Hope this helps.

Hi Col. Thamks for the clarification. I followed the steps you suggested, went to search for the film (which, as you memtioned, listed the US title. When does imdb plan to amend this functionality?), got the page, and it's still showing the US title. If you could please advise.
