Wrong Jim Whelan listed on Snake Eyes (1998)

I believe that the wrong actor is listed as playing "Mayor" in Snake Eyes (1998). The film takes place in Atlantic City, and the mayor at the time of filming was Jim Whelan (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7766873/). However, the actor listed on the IMDb page is an unrelated British actor with the same name (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0924039/). I submitted a correction as part of a larger update to the page, but the deletion of Jim Whelan (I) and addition of Jim Whelan (III) were rejected. Please help me get this oversight corrected and processed.
