Wrong actress linked on award page
On the IMDb page for the 2001 NAACP Image Awards, a certain Kyla Pratt (I) is shown as one of the nominees in the category of Outstanding Youth Actor/Actress for her role in the 2000 film Love & Basketball. Only problem is that Kyla Pratt (I) did not have a role in Love & Basketball. The award should go to Kyla Pratt (II), who had a supporting role as "Young Monica" in that film. I submitted an update for this two weeks ago and nothing has been done about it. No idea why, since for some odd reason, certain types of contributions don't give you the option to "Track Contribution".
At any rate, though others may disagree, it is my personal opinion that the award for a role in a movie should go to the person who had that role in that movie, not to someone who just coincidentally shares that person's name. But that's just my opinion. IMDb, feel free to rely on your own judgment in this matter. Don't let an amateur like me tell you what to do.
