Will there be a way in the future to remove alternative titles from episodes?
Strangely, IMDb has never allowed alternative titles on TV episodes, despite first claiming very many years ago that it would eventually do so. However, if you merge a standalone title into a series, then an alternative title is shown, although this cannot be edited as that box still does not exist on episode forms.
There are very many titles on IMDb which are part of series, but which someone has added as a standalone title. I find this odd, as it is actually much quicker to add a new episode than it is to create a whole new title, and there is not even the excuse that it doesn't come up in searches when it's an episode, as most episodes do now.
There is also somebody in England, who adds every single title as a theatrical release, and I always correct those too whenever I stumble upon them. But that's a subject for another day.
Here is an example of the original, incorrect title of what should have been an episode still showing up after I have merged it into its series: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7607170/

Hi @Bethanny -
Thank you. I did three more of these moving-episodes-into-series corrections after posting this, and they didn't do what I asked for at all! They removed the series part of the title, but still left them as separate series!

I have re-submitted them, in the hope they do it properly this time.
