Why was this declined?!

I tried to respond to to some incorrect reviews of an episode of FBI: Most Wanted. I did not use any profanity or name calling, just tried to correct a misconception and my review was declined, with no specific reason given. Please help me understand what is wrong with the below review (please read the other reviews of the same episode, S1 E10 Silkworm of FBI: Most Wanted, before commenting on mine, it's only prudent to do that).

My review:

There are several reviews of this episode and most, if not all, completely missed the part where Cassie explains how they have a son Obviously she did not give birth and that wasn't even implied!

I can't believe the other reviewers actually thought that the writers are that dumb as to let viewers think that a transgender woman can give birth. Come on guys!

Cassie explained that her sister was a surrogate and they used her egg and his sperm. Cassie continued to explain that this way, their son has her family's blood in him.

If you are going to write a review, the least you should do is watch the show attentively. Watch attentively before writing reviews!!

One of the main things that IMDb say not to do in a review is to comment on other listed reviews.

Thank you. But I was correcting their incorrect information.

I wish an IMDb reviewer would comment. I'd be happy to edit, because I just want other readers to know that the situation was explained in the episode.

Also, the the wording in in the guidelines seems to be a suggestion, rather than a hard policy...Again, I wasn't putting anyone down, I was correcting a mistake.

@vera Hi! Replying/commenting/mentioning other reviews/reviewers is not considered within guidelines, we expect reviews to be your personal opinion on the title itself.

Thanks!

@Bethanny Thank you. If that's the case, then it should be clearly stated in the guidelines, not simply "resist the temptation". Also, why not state that as a reason for the review being declined? Instead of, "Your contribution has been declined. We did not capture a specific reason during processing."

If I was told from the first communication that my review was declined because, "Replying/commenting/mentioning other reviews/reviewers is not considered within guidelines" I wouldn't have ever had to ask why my review was declined.

Thank you for clearing that up Bethanny and please consider clearly stating the reason for something being declined, it would definitely avoid conversations like this. ))

@Bethanny Could you please advise if this edited version would be approved?

In case you missed it while watching the episode, Cassie explains how they have son.

Obviously she did not give birth and that wasn't even implied. Thankfully the writers were smart enough to explain how a transgender woman has a child in this story.

Cassie explained that her sister was a surrogate and they used her egg and his sperm. Cassie continued to explain that this way, their son has her family's blood/DNA in him.

@vera Hi! It is ok to mention it like that if that is not the entire review, because that itself is not your personal opinion on the title.

Hope that helps!
