Why was my review of the latest Knives Out movie removed?

Hi everyone. I have a top reviewer badge on IMDb and recently posted a review of the latest Knives Out movie, after attending the UK premiere.

I logged into IMDb today out of curiosity to see if people had voted it helpful or unhelpful, only to find it's not there anymore. It was deleted without any notification to me. Luckily I keep a kept a copy of this review. It does talk about topical avenues of thought in Christianity, but only as raised by the movie, and it doesn't take sides. I also only raise them in the context of the movie. Can anyone help me understand why this has been done and if I can get my review reinstated?

"The Gospel of Matthew presents a text of Jesus' speech, commonly known as the Sermon on the Mount. In it we find the haunting lines, "'Have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you...'". The main interpretation of this message is that many who sincerely believe themselves to be Christians will be rejected on Judgement Day.People use Christianity for their own purposes — and this, fittingly, is the main theme of the third instalment of the Christie-ian series of mystery movies directed by Rian Johnson (couldn't resist the pun!). It is an intriguing foray through a rotten parish in well-to-do suburban New York, during this era of MAGA Christianity. Johnson is not the only creator concerned to tackle this topical issue. On the bawdy and bratty South Park, PC Principal — once a shouty inclusionist — has converted into the ego-bro Power Christian. In one episode, he even lectures Jesus on the meaning of Christianity.A key point of contention in contemporary Christian dialogue — reflected in Dead Man Walking — is the legitimacy of violence: when it is ordained, and when it is not. As ever with Johnson’s mysteries, the setup revolves around an act of lethal violence against a central figure surrounded by repellent hangers-on (another great all-star cast). Benoit Blanc is drafted in to uncover all.Various genuine clues are wafted before our eyes; if we resist the flow of entertainment and hold fast to our fleeting suspicions, we might just solve the mystery ourselves. Or just enjoy yourself!"

Hi @matthew_scott_7622690,

Your review was reported for removal because it was seen to be not focused enough on the title you were reviewing, and the review also does not meet our user review guidelines. This is because the review contains distinct social commentary on subject matter on which the film is based, which is not permitted.

We would therefore encourage you to edit your review in accordance with these guidelines, and re-submit. Furthermore, and just to clarify, contributors do not receive notifications for when an item of data they contributed has been removed.

I hope this helps!
