Why was my review declined?
I have written and posted over 250 reviews of films I have viewed. On occasion, a review here and there is declined, with no reason given.
Because this has happened in the past, I make sure that I do not use capital letters or foul language. I do my best to address the film and clearly state my opinion.
Despite that, my reviews are still occasionally declined, hence I return to this page to ask for help/advice.
Here is the review I wrote for "Boiling Point." Can anyone explain to me what kind of rule I broke?

Here is the IMDB one-liner: "Enter the relentless pressure of a restaurant kitchen as a head chef wrangles his team on the busiest day of the year."
Focus on the phrase "relentless pressure," and "wrangles his team," and "busiest day" (should have said night).
Roll those phrases around in your head. Do they sound like a fun experience? Something to entertain or enlighten you? If they do, be my guest. If they don't, run for the hills.
I bravely endured about one-half of this film because my husband found it interesting. I, on the other hand, felt it was like an excruciatingly painful group therapy session.
If a restaurant is to be successful, I imagine, the chef and his team must work as a sleek unit, staying on top of things, reading each other's minds. In "Boiling Point," the creators must have thought it would be smashing good fun to have the characters at each other's throats from the get-go. The problem is: whose story is it? We are pulled in so many directions at once and we're not sure where our sympathies should lie. As a result, it is nigh on impossible to emotionally invest in any one person.
Some of the actors were quite good, doing their best to convey their professionalism as actors and their skills in a real restaurant. But despite that, and despite the personal dramas of each character, the overall feeling was that of a screaming match and a chance to bare fangs and confront each other, all while trying to serve dinner to a restaurant full of diners.
Yes, it was filmed in "one long take"-- and while that might be an admirable achievement, it did not make the movie "better." It just made it feel like a long nightmare from which there was no waking up.
Entitled: Unendurable
