Solved

Why this rejection?

#260901-163633-631000

For Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special (2026) (TV):

I provided the screenshot showing Doug Goldstein and Tom Root credited as Head Writers (you can see the title in the browser tab). The proposed writing credit structure is identical to that shown for another Robot Chicken special: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt35854600/

Why didn't this go through?

Hi sycasey80-

Thank you for posting the reference! Further reviewing, this was rejected because when it comes to Showrunners and Head Writers there is a correct way to add and list these two specific credits on the site. The other credits on the second title are incorrect.

As per our guidelines:

  • Only series or episodes can have the "(showrunner)" and/or "(head writer)" attribute, not standalone titles like movies or TV specials.

For further detailed information on Showrunners and Head Writers credits, I encourage you to review our following Help Guide

Cheers!

@Maya

As stated in the help page:

  • Only series or episodes can have the "(showrunner)" and/or "(head writer)" attribute, not standalone titles like movies or TV specials.

I also don't see the point of duplicating a "head writer" role with a "head writer" attribute.

@Peter_pbn - Thank you, Peter! Forgot to mention this as well, yes, only for series or episodes.

@Maya

The original query is about title listed as a special, so the attribute should not be required.
