Why this piece of trivia included

Question

In the trivia for the movie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile' you state that another movie website lists the wrong movie release year. Why is trivia now mud slinging? This isn’t trivia about the movie itself but rather a separate website and this feels inappropriate & frankly sad of you to include. Especially since IMDb is wrought with errors. Not a good look for you.
