Why is "Release Type" not required when submitting a TV episode, but when fixing?

I was fixing episodes 1/2 (which imdb also had as "11"), as they did not premiere in 2020, but 2022. I also submitted 3 as 2020 by accident then realized the errors.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Love_Never_Lost (yes, it is Wikipedia, easier than linking to some Chinese websites to back up my claims for the English speakers here)

So then I noticed, when fixing the year on the individual episodes, why does it then require an attribute? Keep in mind I submitted 1.3 and it didn't ask for it until I went to modify 2020 to 2022.

Hi @Devin1405 -

Thanks for your feedback, I'm inquiring with the team as to why this requirement is limited to release date corrections.  I have also forwarded your observations to the team for visibility and review of future improvements within the contribution form.
