Why is Biography denied as a genre for...

these two titles:

Read the plot summaries and go to other sources, and you will see that they obviously qualify for the Biography genre.

The first title on your list already lists Biography as a genre directly on the title.

@bradley_kent Based on the timestamps on your post, it has been less than 24 hours since you submitted these contributions. Perhaps your edit is still pending. Or maybe it has been approved but doesn't show up in the system yet.

Hi bradley_kent-

I have reviewed your second submission and I can confirm that it has been approved. The changes will be live on the site shortly.

Cheers!

These are logical explanations of which I am already aware, but something else is going on.  Over 100 genre and/or keyword corrections were accepted, EXCEPT for this one.  Almost every time that a keyword is audited to near zero titles, there still remains one, two or sometime more that are NOT processed.  And there is also the case where titles are still listed for a keyword that they no longer have.  Either it is a technical problem, or some staff member is randomly choosing to withhold such corrections or additions for some unknown reason.  Thanks for the help, but this reccurring situation is very curious.

You previously suggested that your edits were not approved for both titles, which turned out to be incorrect.

This appears to be a simple lag in the data refreshes on the IMDb website. I have observed the same type of thing thousands of times.

I have learned from experience that since some types of data are only updated once per week (and in extreme cases, once every two weeks), the only way to know for sure if there is a glitch in data not being accurately reflected on the website is to first verify that my edit was approved, and then wait two weeks. Only then will it be clear whether there is a true problem. In the vast majority of cases, all edits eventually show up on the site.

Still would like to why ONLY these two titles were delayed, or why ANY particular titles are delayed while others are not on any keyword audit.  Is it random?  What?
