Why is actor name rejected on IMDB?

Hi I'm an executive producer on a project and it is rejecting an actor credit when I submit it.  This person is a celebrity so it appears I need more proof.  What is valid proof to show?  A call sheet?

Hi, Matt Taff. Thanks for reaching out. What is the 18-digit reference number of submission having the particular declined filmography item update? (Such information would be helpful to the IMDb staff if it turns out that the submission was declined in error.) As to what constitutes valid proof, providing a call sheet may suffice, while a pay stub is be preferred, but the latter may contain confidential information, therefore shouldn't be shared here on this public forum unless properly redacted. Consider using the IMDb contact form found at https://help.imdb.com/contact please. Just to note, in the worst case scenario, nobody will be able to get the cast/filmography item instated until the movie is actually released.

Hello the number is: #221213-194453-109000.  Also I have a call sheet and a payment form sent to his person for it.  I now have just got in a cast photo of the actor in question.

I also have his personal payment person submitted a request to add.  That number is #221212-042708-584000

Very important we get this up for marketing purposes.  Please can you help as soon as possible with this?  Thank you!

Hi matt_taff-

Thank you for posting the submission reference number! I was checking it and I can see that the credit contribution has already been approved and the changes are already live on the site.

I can also see that there is another one that was submitted today and it's pending. It will be check by our editors shortly.

Cheers!

Hello matt_taff,

I can confirm that the credit order is already set to 1, additionally you can take a look at our Help guides for more details about credit ordering.

Cheers!
