why does IMDB block/disallow reviews/edits that the editors do not like?

I recently, first edited a review of mine about the amazon series "rings of power"; then, secondly posted a review about the movie "don't worry darling". However, neither my edit on rings of power, nor my review on don't worry darling were acknowledged. I would very much like to be notified about the reasons, because I don't think neither my edit nor my review were against the rules.

I guess you are asking for these:

#221108-165137-637204

as a reason for declination "Does not meet contribution guidelines." is given.

How come a single sentence edit is declined on the grounds of "Does not meet contribution guidelines.", which is in regards to a review which is approved.

Yes those are the reference numbers I needed. Both were not accepted as both contained things against our policy, not focusing on the title's content.
