The submission was rejected since the Bio is not well formatted. As per our Biographical guidelines, there is already a section where the Date of Birth is added, therefore we don't need to mention that on the Bio. Biographies usually answer questions such as:
However I have a question / inquiry... The information that is displayed beside my profile pic... Name, DoB, random filmography titles etc, there is some incorrect / misleading information displayed. It says that "... He is an actor known for..." that information is incorrect. As I have never acted in any of those films listed. It should read "He is a Make-up Artist known for..."
I also understand why under my name it says: Make-up Department, Additional Crew, Actor. That makes sense to me.
I only acted in one scene in one film, which I was the Make-up HoD of. The rest of my filmography I am credited as a Make-up Artist.
Just wondering why IMDb lists this information in this way... The least credited film credit (occupation is mentioned first) rather than my main occupation.
Anyways, how can I edit / correct this line to show my current prominent occupation? thanks Fran.
In the case that there are credits that don't belong to you, you can submit the credit corrections to have the credits moved to a different page. You can find the instructions and help on our How do I correct credits? help article, once the credits are corrected will see only your credits on the page.
Also for the DoB and data which is incorrect, you can submit the corrections as well, take a look at our Correcting existing data help article.
For the bio you can submit also a correction using our online Update Form, more detailed help on our Help Articles.
I apologize for me not being clear. I just want to change a phrase that's all. Unfortunately the links you provided didn't help, as I've already tried them with no resolution.
However, I have taken your suggestion and posted my inquiry (hopefully with better clarity and details) to the Update Forum for a possible solution.
Did you already tried adding the Bio ? It looks like you will have to submit the addition, remember not to add information already added to the page as the Date of Birth since it will be redundant, here is the Help Article to add it.

And IMDb says that the information is for your personal biographical statistics as per your guidelines, and notfor the mini bio information that is shown beside my profile pic.
I've tried it twice (correct and delete) and it says I need a minimum of 50 words, also my submission was rejected for not meeting the "statistics" guidelines.
1) I do not want to add any biographical statistics to my page.
2) I do want to change the phrase from "He is an actor" to: He is a make-up artist to the existing information that is already posted beside my profile picture.
To be clear, I didn't write that introduction mini bio when my page was created, it was automatically generated via algorithm or by someone on your end who wrote it. It doesn't matter who or what wrote it, I just want to make this small change / correction to it that's all.
According to Fran (to whom I've been corresponding with on this matter) suggested I post that request here on the forum for a solution as there is no way for me to edit this specific change on my end.
