Why cannot self credits be corrected to performer's name?

I've been trying to get two credits corrected on https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0739238/ for over a week without success. I submitted it as #200824-114853-080000 and have submitted it to contact us and here when it was GS, but still the incorrect credit still exists.

These credits fall under https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/cast-acting-credits-guidelines/GH3JZC74FVYKKFMD#self in which it is scripted work of fiction. It was supposed to have been sent back to the original editor that denied it by Grayson but still has not been corrected. There is zero doubt that these credits are wrong, so I'd love for the denying editor to give a reason why they won't correct it.

You can also look at https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/please-educate-andor-update-algorithms-to-stop-denying-self-credit-fixes/5f4a7cb08815453dba0f510e and https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/please-correct-not-a-problem-unfixed-after-full-day/5f4a7cb78815453dba108134. I also submitted this via contact us but there is no doubt that these credits as they are are incorrect.

Thank you.

Hey Mike - I've fixed this for you now and confirmed it's been approved and gone live.

Thank you. Can you offer some clue as to why it was so difficult to get this fixed. I submitted it, did contact us, had a post here that went to the original editor without their fixing it, and finally thanks to you it was fixed.

Something that is so fundamentally and clearly an error should not be so difficult to fix.

thanks.

It's hard to say after the fact, it's unlikely the editors in question will remember vetting it as they vet hundreds of items at a time.

You can rest assured that I've passed on the feedback that it should have been approved.
