Why aren't the "goofs" sections showing up anymore (at least for the several movies I submitted them for in the past???)

I have submitted several "goofs" over the years, the most recent I believe for the movie Better Watch Out. It originally showed up on the main page under the "goofs" section but there is nothing there now (FYI--it was a "spoiler" which was clearly noted in my post AND noted in the originally published "goof").

Most likely someone submitted a delete request.

I'm posting the title link in case IMDb staff want to dig up your entry.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4443658/goofs

You could also find your submissions in your email receipts or history and post the reference numbers here if you think an error has been made. You are also welcome to post the goof contents here so other contributors can comment.

I should hope that the most likely scenario isn't too commonplace, because a goof item would have to be very incomprehensible or very off-topic to not warrant being re-designated as "incorrectly regarded as goof". There is a goof item attached to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom that somebody was complaining about two or three years ago on this forum, and I remember suggesting that the item be deleted altogether, since IMDb doesn't really deal with filmmakers' deliberate aberrations of scientific knowledge (including physics) in the name of artistic license or shock value. If I ever see the movie, I will try to fix the item by articulating some kind of logic backed up by what is stated or explained in the movie itself.

@Peter_pbn Thank you for the excellent information. My "goof" was a simple "continuity" issue, nothing technical, scientific, or artistic license related, that was originally listed as a goof on IMDb (and a VERY OBVIOUS AND SIGNIFICANT one--SPOILER). I even watched the scene several times over before submitting to make sure I didn't miss something which I don't think I did.

I even saw the same "goof" submitted by someone else on another movie review site and it was still posted.

But mine was removed for apparently no reason as IMDb states:

Gundy, you might want to disclose here the 18-digit reference number (comprised of three hyphen-separated six-digit numbers) of the declined submission of yours, as Peter mentioned, along with exact details of the goof, if such a submission was ever made by you in the first place. Also, repeating the same ting over and over again is not helping.

Ok, here you go jeorj_euler....hope this is enough information for you....

18-digit reference code: 210101-201524-038000

Submitted on 1-1-2021 at 8:15 PM and 24 seconds.

EXACT SUBMISSION MADE: AGAIN--SPOILER:

"SPOILER: At the end of the movie Ashley is completely tied up and restrained so it would be impossible for her to put duct tape on her neck to stop the bleeding after Luke stabs her there."

As I also said, the same/similar error was reported by another person on another movie review site. I would post the link here but I know some websites do not allow posting of external weblinks on their pages so I will not (you can Google it....).

This was my first submission to the IMDb Community pages so I was not sure how those who were thoughtful AND KIND enough to reply would be notified regarding any additional posts made to the OP (that means "original post" ;>}} ). For example, when ANY post is made to the thread or only a response to their post is made. THUS my duplicate explanations to all those that posted so they would be acknowledged...."lighten up Francis"...

Hi gundy-

As @Peter_pbn said this is because they were reported by other user as they could not be considered Goofs since they all had an explanation.

Cheers!

@Bethanny

The problem with users reporting goofs that they think have an explanation is that they don't have real knowledge of how things work.

I wrote a goof, a long time ago, for xXx: State of the Union. The entire plot is illogical and defies how trains actually work. Someone could write an "explanation" for why that could happen but I actually wrote software for train braking systems and have much more knowledge of how train brakes works than your average IMDb user.

Thanks for the response Adrian but this was pretty much a straightforward simple goof in terms of continuity and not in regard to how I thought/knew how things would, should or could go.
