Why are you rejecting my contribution #241106-175017-944000?

Hello,

Why did you reject my contributions #241104-202231-905000, #241105-170433-201000, #241106-175017-944000?

I provided a link to Steam, where the game is sold and has been out for a long time. This is the most popular platform with the most games (probably something like iTunes). So what's the problem?

Yes, you need to log in to see it, but this is due to the fact that the game has age restrictions. It is not available on other sites. You would easily accept streaming links for films and TV series, although you also need to log into your account there and also buy a subscription.

Hi @rkld -

Our editors were unable to verify as the link is not opening, feel free to post screenshots here and use the link to this thread as evidence.

Cheers!

@Bethanny I was able to find a link that can be opened without a login, but my contribution #241107-183102-920000 was rejected again. Why?

And here is a screenshot: https://cln.sh/V0SSpTtcnLwPzYMf5dTR

Hello rkld,

The title is already live under "Artemis".

@Fran and if in the future the information via the link is not available to unregistered users, is it worth attaching a link to a screenshot of the page to successfully approve the contribution? Or would a saved copy of the page on web.archive.org or archive.is also work?

It would be better if you attach the link or screenshot for us to take a look with the contribution made.

@Fran, are you suggesting that I write to the forum every time I contribute? If I provide a link to the page as evidence and then a screenshot of that page in the form of adding the title, will it still not work? I’m asking in general how to do this correctly, not about any specific contribution.

No, in this case the evidence can be included when submitting the contribution.

A screenshot would be better.
