Why are regional OTT platforms missing from IMDb’s “Where to Watch” / Streaming section?

IMDb’s streaming information is extremely useful for finding where movies and shows are legally available. However, it appears that several major regional OTT platforms are often missing from the streaming/“Where to Watch” section of movie pages.

For Malayalam, Bengali and Kannada audiences, platforms such as ManoramaMAX, Hoichoi and Nammaflix have significant regional content libraries and legitimate streaming rights.

Why aren’t regional OTT platforms consistently included in IMDb’s streaming information?

Is there a specific process, eligibility criterion, data partner or technical requirement for an OTT platform to have its availability listed on IMDb movie pages?

It would be helpful if IMDb could clarify how regional streaming platforms can get their titles and availability accurately represented, especially as these platforms are increasingly important sources of legal streaming content.
