Which Is the Correct Department: Production Manager or Elsewhere
What is the proper credit department for the Post-Production Manager and the Post-Production Supervisor? I've these jobs split between being listed in the Editorial Department * post production supervisor - 65,334 * post-production supervisor - 11,886 * post-production manager - 7,571 * post production manager - 6,738 And being listed in the Production Manager Department * post-production supervisor - 166,587 * post production supervisor - 8,533 * post-production manager - 49,587 * post production manager - 3,494 Presumably these should be Production Manager Department entries based on numbers, but I've seen the same job for the same person split across both departments within a series. (i.e. Jane Doe is listed as Post-Production Manager of series in the Production Manager department on 5 episodes, and in the Editorial Department on 8 episodes)

It would be so much easier if there were a Post-Production section in which every job title with this term could be placed.

Hi thebluetuna- It all depends on the role and to best determine where these credits should be added is to look at where the credit is grouped on the on-screen credits. For example, we do allow credits under Editorial if the role performed was of a post-production editorial function. Cheers!
