When will *Self* be added to current list of 40 primary professions? There's a marked need for this category as Documentary shows multiply.
Many who are IMDbPro members have starred, or been prominently featured, in numerous Television Documentary programs, specials, & series. As of now, we are instructed to place our work in the "Self" category - a category which holds no real importance or relevance among the other 40 primary professions listed in 2019. Therefore, "Self" category is just a throw-away profession. (I personally beg to differ.)
I have devoted the last 2 decades of my television career & work to these reality tv/ documentary/ mystery shows.
I believe this category has merit to be added to the current list of Primary Professions here at IMDb. I believe there are countless other members who would also be so grateful for this welcome addition & upgrade to the list for 2019 & beyond.
