TRIVIA ADDITION

When Jim and his friend are in the pub one evening, the scene ends with it cutting to the TV screen showing the BBC 1 spinning globe logo and the announcer identifying the station and talking about upcoming programs. Without mentioning the show, the music on the TV cuts to the opening theme song of the scientific topographical program "Tomorrows World". Director Mike Jackson chose this shows theme song as a subliminal suggestion that tomorrow's world is actually going to be that of nuclear devastation and not what the subject of this TV program would be, which is uplifting and informative scientific discoveries.
