What makes a release "limited" (in Italy)?

I've been attempting to update some release info for some films, and noticed some inconsistencies with when the "limited" label has been used. I have tried to remove the "limited" tag where it appears to be false, with mixed results.

I found this on the help page, but it appears to only apply to US releases:

Box Office Mojo by IMDbPro considers a movie in wide release or about to go wide when it is playing at 600 or more theaters, which generally indicates a nationwide release (the term is short for "nationwide"). A movie is considered to be in limited release when playing at fewer than 600 theaters (i.e. released in one or more markets but not nationwide).

For example, Italy rarely has a film reach 600 theaters. In this case, when do we consider a release "limited"?
