What is to be gained by rejecting Family corrections?
What do IMDb hope to gain by rejecting corrections to their Family feature?
If the parents of the famous film star Adam Sandler are connected to the lesser-known filmmaker Adam Sandler (II), then surely it would make sense to sort out that error as soon as possible before too many industry people notice such glaring errors on the most famous movie reference site?
But no. IMDb's wisdom is it is best to leave the errors up there, and just pretend I'm doing the corrections just for a laugh. Well let me be the first to tell you, genealogy is not a laughing matter - we are all stuck with the families we are born with, whether good, bad, or simply irritating.

Hi Vande-
Thank you for reporting and posting the reference numbers for this declined family relations corrections. I have reviewed the information and I can confirm that these corrections had to be approved. I have now accepted the corrections for both Adam Sandler (I) and Adam Sandler (II).
The changes are already live on the site for both name pages.
Thanks again!
