What is the correct way to merge two titles?
In the instructions, it states:
"To submit a correction, you should use the 'Title Correction' option to change the title of one to the second. For example, if you know that the pages for Untitled XYZ Project (2006) and The ABC Movie (2006) refer to the same film, you would go to the page for Untitled XYZ Project (2006), click on the Edit Page button at the bottom of the page, select the 'Title Correction' option and change the title of the film to The ABC Movie (2006). This will result in a merge of the two titles."
The two entries already have the same title, so using the Title Correction option isn't effective.

An explanation would be appreciated.

They have different title formats:
Linkin Park - My Dsmbr (2002) (V)
Linkin Park - My Dsmbr (2002) (TV)
I guess it should be listed as (V) per music video guidelines. In that case, you can correct the second title to say (V) instead of (TV).

It has been 4 days and this merge has not happened. Unfortunately, there is no "Track Contribution" button so I have no way of knowing whether this merge is still pending or has been rejected. But considering the simplicity of the request, it was probably rejected with "unable to verify".

Hi a970 -
If the Title Merge update you submitted has not yet gone live on the site, our staff can check the status for you. Please post the 18-digit submission reference number here associated with the update and I can take a look.
Cheers!
