What do you think the best solution is for misspelt names in credits?

I think this one could be more subjective rather than clear cut...?

Let's say you saw Michael Caine in a TV show and his name was credited as "Michael Caynnne".

If you add that as an attribute, it'll go on his profile as an "alternative" and you know it's not an alternative name he uses for acting, it's a technical mistake by the people doing the credits. Would it be better to leave it as is, and just add a note under "goofs"? Or would you go for that 100% accuracy, knowing it would go on his personal page?

MovieCat: The IMDb policy is that yes, his name should be listed in that case with the attribute (as Michael Caynnne). However, I think it would be appropriate to add a Trivia item to his personal page saying, "He was mistakenly credited in [Film] as 'Michael Caynnne'. This was an error, not a name he actually intended to use."

Unfortunately, if something like that happened to an actor nowadays, he would likely request to have the misspelled name suppressed and shown only as (as a different name), an attribute we see used far too often to suppress things like nicknames and middle initials, for no good reason.
