Weird glitch? Cast members not showing in the correct order

EDIT: This thread is not yet "solved". Please do not skim-read this message and post a response explaining how to correct order numbers; that is not the issue here!

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13045876/fullcredits/?ref_=tt_ql_cl

The order number attached to the cast list are not reflected on this "Cast & Crew" page, which is showing them in a different order to the numbers seen on the update form. (Perhaps it's being ordered by Starmeter rating, given that Idris Elba is at the top?)

the order numbers will not affect the display of credits until a significant percentage of the credited cast has order numbers.

Currently, only 4 out of 26 have order numbers, so that's why it's not displayed.

Hello tom_wake,

Credits order numbers can be corrected, in case you need detailed instructions/information, I encourage you to follow our Credit Order help guide.

@Fran Hi Fran,

As explained in my original post, these credits already have the correct order numbers attached, so there is nothing to correct; the issue is that they are not displaying in this order.

@Fran Could you please un-tag this thread as being "solved"? Many thanks

Hi @tom_wake -

As mbmb and Peter_pbn mentioned in their comments, the assigned credit order will typically only go into effect once at least 30% of the cast has order numbers assigned, so in this instance, I would encourage you to add order numbers to the remaining cast (or at least 30%) for the display to reflect the credit order numbers.

With that being said, the inconsistency you observed on the TV Movie "The 100 Greatest Films" is interesting, I have filed a ticket for the appropriate team to review the display logic and clarify if there are specific rule differences as per title/credit type, or confirm if this is a bug.  As soon as I have an update I will relay that information here.

Cheers!

Hi @Michelle

It's not that "100 Greatest Films" is an exception to the rule - almost every title I've seen in my 18 years of contributions has followed the same pattern (whether the credits are all "Self", acting, or a mixture of the two), with the episode in my original post being the only exception that I've ever seen.
