Ways to multi-delete production company details from a title?

There are a couple of titles that have an incorrect production company cited against them, and, as much as I love making sure things are accurate, submitting around 370 "deletion" requests will be quite time-consuming - is there any way around this?

The Goodies ( https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065296/reference/)  - 76 episodes, this was a BBC production, before moving to ITV in its last series, and having the final 7 episodes produced by London Weekend Television. Unfortunately, for some reason someone has put "LWT" as the production company for EVERY episode. That's 69 that are incorrect.

Blankety Blank ( https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0131159/reference/ ) - Around 300 episodes of this have "Grundy Productions" listed against them. I left them, as I couldn't understand why, and assumed I missed something. Then I realised that Grundy Productions, the Australian company, would have been behind the Australian version, the similarly-named "Blankety Blanks". As the title is similar, it's possible that there's some production cross-over, but this never appears onscreen.

I tried editing the first one through the LWT page on Pro, but editing 60+ credits on a page with thousands of credits meant that I ran into timeout errors.

@Peter_pbn It's not easy, is it?

Hi MovieCat -

Unfortunately, there is no easy way around contributing a clean-up of this magnitude, additionally, as Peter_pbn mentioned above, we are still working on resolving the contribution form timeout issues which are occurring for bulk data clean-ups like these.

In the meantime, I'm checking to see if there is an option to clean-up these specific company credits on the back-end.   To confirm, all season episodes (aside from season 9) of "The Goodies" needs the company "London Weekend Television (LWT)" removed, correct?  Also, for "Blankety Blank", the company "Grundy Productions" needs to be removed from all episodes of this series, correct?

Hi @MovieCat -

Tanks for confirming.  These company credits have now been removed from the applicable series- episode titles, the changes should be live on the site shortly.

Cheers!

@Michelle Thank you Michelle, that's brilliant.

I don't mind putting the hours in, but that seemed a lot of work.

I'm currently working on renumbering episodes of Man Alive, as the second season was created with an episode missing from the run. There are 94 episodes to renumber!!

Hi @MovieCat -

I'm happy to have helped, also sounds like you have a lot on your plate with the "Man Alive" episode renumbering!  Thanks as always for your valuable contributions to the site, and let us know if you encounter any issues with these renumbering updates!

@Michelle Look at these lovely things.... there was no room for episode 2.16, so I had to renumber everything from 2.16-2.96..... with some of the other seasons also having similar issues, I had to put in around 150 separate renumber requests.

But it's worth it, right?: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0404629/episodes?season=2
