Was I right to flag this? On a major cable TV movie IMDb lists it cost $3,000 to make.

Just 3 Grand.  $3,000.

On a Lifetime Movie for the Lifetime Channel (pretty decent too by those standards) called "Lethal Beauty" but mis-titled as "Good Deed" where they tend to spend WAY more than 3 grand to shoot an entire movie.  They don't often have their budgets listed here on IMDb, but just going by some of the ones they are listed the budgets usually range from $1 million to at most $3 million.  It was even filmed in a Los Angeles business bureau with multiple on location settings.  That alone would cost more than 3 grand.

My note to delete got declined, but I'm not contesting it or gonna resubmit or anything like that.  I'm just wondering if this factoid (because most people tend to believe everything on IMDb as fact) well just sounds... dubious to anyone else.

If I was wrong to flag it, my bad, won't happen again.  But the last ones I flagged like this that sound just as dubious were trivia items stating "Despite the credited writer the movie was mostly written by ChatGPT 3.5" and "Originally the story took place in an alternate reality where the N@zis won WWII", both on a movie about an angry nanny with a grudge.  Really not sure how those even got approved given my experience with submitting Goofs.  Anyway, if something reads as blatantly false or (in the case of a $3,000 budget where someone probably just forgot to add the other 3 zeros), I'm really only trying to just bring them to your attention.

Hi @talentest -

In this case we need the budget corrected or evidence it is incorrect, I understand your point on it being probably wrong, but we need evidence.

Cheers!

@Bethanny Thank you Bethanny.  Real quick though could you tell me what the "private" tag means and why did it appear on this post?  Is it like a spam filter thing?

And how do I get it to not be private?
