Video loses its association when edited.

I've had this problem for a while. When I upload a video for a specific episode, the video has 2 associations: the specific episode and the main show. But when I edit the video to change the thumbnail, the association to the specific episode is lost and only the main title remains. I know I could avoid modifying the thumbnail but the system never chooses the one I want.

My show is MoonDaze TV mdb.com/title/tt5642738/

Example:

- I uploaded this video MoonDaze Flash 122 - Halloween Exclamation Trailer https://www.imdb.com/video/vi3257976601/

 to the page for the specific episode https://www.imdb.com/title/tt29382307/

- I changed the thumbnail and then it lost the association to the specific episode page for MoonDaze TV 92 Halloween Exclamation while the association to the main show MoonDaze TV remains intact https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5642738/

This has been going on for a long while in my case and I was always hoping it would get solved but so far, it still happens every time I try to modify a video. Let me know if this is a bug, if other people have experienced it in the same way and what can be done to fix it.
