Solved

Users not able to filter TOP REVIEWS for spoilers and not warned of possible spoilers.

I started to read the TOP REVIEW for a movie titled "Wings of Desire". As I read I realized that the review contained detailed information about the movie which I would certainly regard as spoilers. And yet, unlike in the User Reviews section, there is no warning that the review may contain spoilers.

The feature to allow users to hide reviews with spoilers is of course very good, but by then allowing reviews that contain spoilers to be chosen as the TOP REVIEW is contradictory and undermines the whole point of having the filter on the User Reviews section.

Perhaps IMDb could look at this issue and maybe have a warning the TOP REVIEWS are not filtered for spoilers.

Hi Smithysairforce -

If this is still an issue and you are seeing a Top Review displayed on the title page with a Spoiler, you should report the User Review and select the report option 'Spoiler without warning':

Once the User Review has been reported and marked as a spoiler, it will no longer display on the main title page as a Top Review.

I hope this helps!
