Uploading music video as a musician

Hello,

Is it possible to upload a music video as the musician themselves? As in, a video that was created for my song?

If so, which category of 'uploader' would I be, a 'member of the cast/crew', 'publicist/agent/official source', or 'none of the above'?

The music video is animated, and I do not appear in it.

Thank you!

Probably just me, but I don’t fully follow?

Basic guide for adding music videos can be found here:

I'm just wondering if the person who adds the video title to IMDb has to be the director, or if it can be the musician themselves (me)...

And if so, which category I fall into.

Anyone, including you, can add a title to the IMDb database. I'm not sure it makes much difference which category you place yourself in, but cast and crew sounds right.

Uploading the actual video to the site is a separate matter, see Michelle's reply.

Hi Morgan -

If your music video is listed as a title on IMDb, the only option to add videos to the title page is with Title Scorecard.

For more information on adding Videos to IMDb, please see the following guide: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/images-videos/how-can-i-add-video-content-to-imdb/GTAM5N8FE79XSY3E?ref_=helpsrall#
