Updating the movie date.

Hi IMDb,

I have a film that was finally distributed. Witness Underground (2021).

We regretfully listed it's appearances in some film festivals in 2021. The available version is a very different version.

We created a new Witness Underground (2024) page, but IMDb merged them after we 99% done. That was a lot of work on our behalf.

If we have you delete the festival appearances in 2021 - will that change our date to (2024)...?

I deleted a few of them, but now the others are not getting removed.

This will also help us with the Library of Congress Copyright submission which is 2024.

First keep on mind that, our aim is to be the most complete and reliable source of movie, TV, and entertainment information on the web. In order to continue offering our users an accurate and trustworthy service, it is our policy not to alter or delete any kind of correct/factual information from our records. So removing valid Festival appearances from the title will not be accepted.

I appreciate your time to respond.

But, the festival information does not make any sense since that version does not exist.

Is there any way IMDb can duplicate the 2021 page and create a 2024 page without the festival info and Apple+ listing...?

Then I can put the Festival Key Art with the 2021 version and the Actual Release Key Art with the 2024 version.

I did this on my own, but someone at IMDb deleted the 2024 page.

You can't have two listed pages for the same title. We have all the data for the Release date and Festival information that the title was already screened. As mentioned, it is our policy not to alter or delete any kind of correct/factual information from our records.
