Updated Movie Title Not Reflected in Search Results or Main Title on Page

The page for my film was originally created by someone else and I have attempted several times to update its title. However, IMDB only shows the updated title as an "original title" in small print below the main title and the old title remains in search results. Any solutions from those who have experienced this issue would be appreciated.
