Unit Production Assistant should be categorized under Location Management

The Unit Production Assistant position is actually part of the Locations department on a film, but IMDB currently has it categorized as Miscellaneous Crew. Now that IMDB has added a Locations Management category it would be more appropriate to move the Unit Production Assistant category under Locations Management rather than where it's currently categorized.

Unit Production Assistant is the entry level position for locations management. The path into working in locations goes from Unit Production Assistant > Location Assistant > Assistant Location Manager > Location Manager (Location Coordinator is a lateral move from those two middle positions).

The Unit Production Assistant are directed in their responsibilities by the locations department. They arrive on set with the location assistants and assistant location manager and, like other locations department crew, are among the first people in and last people out on a shoot day. They manage the holding area for the locations department, handle checks for the locations department to various locations and vendors, and ensure that the location is restored and cleaned to be in the same or better condition at the end of the shoot as it was when the crew first arrived.

Having Unit Production Assistant categorized as Miscellaneous Crew on an IMDB page can be confusing for explaining work history to a potential employer who assumes that it's simply another form of production assistant who's working either in the production office or on set for the AD department, when in fact the Unit Production Assistant position accounts for a person's first year or two of working in the locations department.

Recategorizing this role would be more accurate and greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
