Uncredited

Hey all

Im just trying to find out how to submit for uncredited extra work (myself)

War of the Worlds 2005 (van tipping extra)

Crush 2022 (father)

The site states typically uncredited work needs at least 1 credited submission, however exceptions are sometimes allowed. But then it doesnt go on to say how to submit the uncredited only exceptions with no name availible to select. Please help thanks group!

You can submit ”uncredited only” work, but they’re not visible until you’ve at least one ”credited” work. They’re there (if accepted), but not visible.

With the actual ”uncredited” credits, the person should be pretty clearly visible on the screen, so prepare to provide some screenshots (of your character in the film).

Also, you need to add a proper character description (ideally that could at least help to find the scene from the film). For example ”Father on a Park Bench” is probably better than just ”Father”. Also, there’s no need to use the word ”extra” when adding a character.

@eboy the question is specifically how to submit them, as in the scroll down with the actor name do you select create new for both films?

@nick

Yes, you can choose to create a new name twice and it usually adds both credits to the same new name.

Alternatively, you can of course start with one credit, wait and see if it is approved, and then add the next credit to the same name.

Basically they’re added in the similar way as you would add normal (credited) credits. With few exceptions:

- ”(uncredited)” should be added to the Attribute field.

- Proper character description (no ”extra”, ”bit part”, ”additional actor” etc written on the Character field).

- No credit order number.

IMDb requires proof/links, though.
