Unable to submit AKA title

Is it possible to add characters that are Unicode compliant. For many languages, it is hard to express the correct pronunciation in a foreign writing system. Unfortunately, none of the supported writing systems mentioned serve the purpose in this case.

Right, someday a broader variety of writing systems will be supported by IMDb in a broader range of data types, as implementation itself is well within the realm of possibility, but for many scripts (or rather character sets in Unicode), implementation has not begun. There is no doubt that Unicode itself has already defined or reserved space for every elemental piece of several of most widely-comprehended writing systems that have survived in usage into contemporary times.

Jeorj: Broadly agree to what you've written but in this case the Santali and Ho languages that are in question are spoken respectively by ~7.6 million and ~1.4 million people living in four different countries. We're not talking about the newly included Unicode standards but the ones that are in active use. Active is a relative term because a community that is economically poor does not have the same access to tools and other resources to create content. But there is no excuse for denying outrightly an established language and its writing system.

These two languages are also missing in the language option while submitting the form.

I didn't mean to imply that the languages in question weren't integrated into the Unicode spec closer to around the time that the standard came into existence. I should point out for examples that the Korean writing system, the Arabic abjad and the Hebrew alphabet are not supported by IMDb. The system has thus far been very limited. Furthermore, as near as I can tell, the IMDb submission form seems to simply conform to a sort of computer character whitelist, hence blocking out a vast majority of the Unicode characters and certainly some ASCII characters as well (such as control characters). So, whenever a language is recognized by IMDb's system for the first time and onward, the whitelist has simply expanded. I understand how frustrating this situation is, but all of us visitors, fans, customers and contributors with IMDb simply have to be patient, sometimes waiting years.
