Solved

Unable to edit screening’s status - film’s page says Release date is (2024) but it hasn’t been released

We had a screening in 2024 that was a free, predominantly private, special screening in the small town where our film was made. We’ve tried multiple times to edit the “premiere” status and screening details but are unable to. If you look at the project details, it says Release date - September 7, 2024 (United States. The film is clearly not released and is inaccessible to the public.

This should be considered a type of Market Screening, and was not the final cut of the film, let alone a premiere. It was a free community preview screening for crew and family and people involved with the film to gain feedback for our PBS broadcast, which will be the wide premiere. Because of public media funding cuts we've had to delay that considerably.

As an indie filmmaker, it is extremely difficult and competitive to get into any festival, and if programmers see (2024) they will likely reject the film. We are currently up for several other fests, so please help us remove/change as it can affect inclusion in future festivals. Thank you!
