Unable to add new or recurring cast: Actor does not have any existing credits in this section

As of this morning, I am unable to fill out a cast list with existing regulars or one-off guests for a show. The error I'm getting is "This credit has warnings, you must acknowledge each one before this credit will be accepted. -- [actor name] does not have any existing credits in this section. Are you sure this is the right person?"

It *IS* the right person, but even if not, selecting them from the list presented results in the exact same message over and over, and I am unable to proceed with filling out any cast list. This is for all actors, and doesn't matter if I'm adding someone new, or using a show regular. The error appears on all actors, and has the same result. If I select the known correct actor using the radio buttons, it still comes back with the same error and same list again.

Hi @themann00 -

Thanks for reporting.  We filed a ticket with the appropriate tech team who is now investigating.  As soon as I have an update on the status I will post that information here.

In the meantime,  you will be able to click the 'first credit in this section' button as as a workaround.

When i add somebody in a documentary in the cast as Self since this morning everytime comes that the person is not credited, even if the person has Self credits already. Only one example:

Note: This comment was created from a merged conversation originally titled Problems with adding somebody in the cast as Self

I'm also having much trouble, one aspect not mentioned is creating new pages is glitchy, for example if I wanted to create a name page 'Joe Bloggs' and there's already 3 'Joe Bloggs' instead of saying 'shall we create Joe Bloggs (IV)' in says shall we create Joe Bloggs (III)' when that page already exists for someone else.

Only work round I've tried, is to manually add the numeral (IV) to the name and even then you have to select the 'I'm not sure let staff decide' to activate it as it still tries to create a (III) page but when you check updates, it wipes the name field clean so it fails in the end.

Hi @themann00 & All -

Just circling back to confirm, as tatjana1984 mentioned above, this issue should now be resolved.

Thanks again for reporting!
