What will need to be determined is if the sequels/reboots are a continuation of the same existing series (such as Roseanne, The Comeback), if they are remakes (such as Charmed (1998)/Charmed (2018)), or if they are a continuation of the series but are marketed as a standalone series (such as Twin Peaks (1990)/Twin Peaks: The Return (2017)).
Remember that we do not consider Wikipedia as a valid source of evidence.
