TV series Looney Tunes 1930-ongoing - Part 2
Because this thread (https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/tv-series-looney-tunes-1930-ongoing) is closed, I'm starting a new thread. Again, some misguided contributor has added Looney Tunes as a TV series that started in 1930: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8335332/reference. They've also added an episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8785828/reference, which should also be deleted because it is this short film: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0021380/reference.
Can a staffer delete this nonsense and contact the person responsible for this?

I've removed the Looney Tunes TV series and contacted the user responsible.
gromit82 those other incorrectly labelled TV series you mention, do you know if we already have these individual titles live as standalone shorts?

Will

We wouldn't want to change the primary title of any of these shorts as that was the title those shots were originally released under, however you could add a (syndication title) alternate title to each of the shorts. That way they would appear in any Looney Tunes searches. You could also add movie connections where applicable linking the titles to aid discovery.
We do not have the functionality to list "Movie series" at this point in time. Have you checked the ideas section to see if we already have this listed as a suggestion? If so you can +1 it or if not you can create a new idea for this feature.

Will

I am not sure what good it would have done for anyone to broadcast a TV series in the United States in 1927, before the first experimental television station in the United States went on the air in 1928. Nobody would have been watching.
Of course, the real explanation is that the year of this series is incorrect, if indeed such a series was ever made. The list of episodes implies that some of the episodes were first aired in 2016. I don't know if such episodes actually exist, but if they were, they aren't part of a TV series that debuted in 1927. (The Walt Disney Company re-acquired the rights to Oswald in 2006 and started merchandising the character again, but I don't know if any new cartoon series of Oswald has been produced.)
