Trying to change Production Status to Completed

Hello, I have tried to change Production Status to Completed. This is for a short film I completed a few years ago where I had an issue changing the status. in response to my request I got the message below.

Reason: Not enough evidence.  Your contribution has been declined. We have been unable to verify your contribution. Unfortunately we were unable to accept your submission as we were unable to verify the information provided.

I want to change this status to complete because this pops up as one of the first things for one of my actors even though it is a few years old and causing confusion at his auditions. Thank you.

"Completed" status won't help with that. You would want "Released" status, which generally requires adding a release date for a screening in the past.

Hello mapostolidis,

As Peter_pbn mentioned, you have to submit a release date for the title, you can do it on our site using the "edit" button at the bottom of the page. You can find details on our Release Dates Help article.

Hi @Fran - I added the release date (that was accepted) but the status change was rejected again because they are unable to verify my contribution. Is there anything else I need to do? Thank you.

@mapostolidis You don't need to add both, adding only release date will switch it to "Released" status automatically. Adding a "Completed" status and a release date at the same time contradicts each other (completed means not released), that's why rejection of the status is correct. If you can post the title maybe we can check what's wrong with it.
