"phony happy ending" is particularly obnoxious.

In reality, when an actor (especially young) on a series dies in real life suddenly, the parents usually do NOT want their child's character killed off as well as it would compound their grief as they would feel like they'd lost their son/daughter all over again.

I haven't checked the IMDb entry for the boy actor that died with Jaclyn so if this "trivia entry" is replicated there too, delete and salt such entries on similar actors' IMDB entries so this cannot happen again.
