Tried to delete a connection
I just watched an episode of "The Waltons" (s2e02) and during it, someone sings part of the song "Hush, Little Baby". In the connections section of imdb page for this episode, someone said that this episode is referenced in an episode of "Two and Half Men" (s7e03) because someone sings this song. The entry says "'Soundtrack song, 'Hush Little Baby.' Comes from this episode." I wasn't able to find a copy of this "Two and Half Men" episode, but according the the contributor of this entry, the only connection is this song. I tried deleting the entry saying, "According to wikipedia, "Hush Little Baby" is a folk song that far predates this episode of 'The Waltons'," and I left a link to the wikipedia article showing that the song was first written down in 1919 and that it had been a folk song before that. This episode of "The Waltons" was from 1973. For some reason, my attempt to delete the entry was declined.
Could someone take a look at it?

Hello JC46,
The provided submission reference number does not work, it does not have 18-digits, please take a look for us in your Contribution History page.
Also, we do not allow Wikipedia as valid evidence and could be the reason why you got rejected. Please take a look at your submissions and if your only source is Wikipedia, the contribution will most likely be rejected.

The tracking number is 241113-173752-062000
It's also fairly common knowledge that this song existed before 1974, but here are other sources:

Thanks for your assistance with that. However, I hope you can help me with problems I have with deleting connections in general. It seems to me that connections can be submitted with no proof at all and yet, if I try to delete them, I’m told that I haven’t proved that it should be deleted. Often proving that something is NOT a connection is impossible because it’s proving a negative.
One title that is very bad for this is “Labyrinth” (tt0091369). I watched the movie a couple of years ago and tried to delete some connections but they were mostly rejected. There are 7 connections that don’t have any explanation at all so there is no way to verify whether they are true or not. There are two that point out similarities to other movies, but again, I can’t prove that there is no connection. And then worst one is a supposed connection to “The Empire Strikes Back” because someone thinks that Yoda appears in the movie. I specifically recall trying to remove this one because the figure in the window can’t be seen well enough to say whether it is or isn’t Yoda. Also Yoda and the puppets in "The Labyrinth" were all designed by Jim Hansen and this movie was about goblins who nearly all have round faces and pointy ears so look like Yoda. The deletion was declined saying that I didn’t provide sufficient proof. But, how am I supposed to prove that it is NOT Yoda. I’ve looked at that part of the film many times and one cannot see the puppet well enough to say either way. Shouldn’t it be up to the submitter to prove that it IS Yoda?
Again, this is just one example. I’d appreciate any feedback you can give.
